Shelter Cove Memorial Day Reunion

We had a fantastic time camping up at Shelter Cove in Humboldt County with all of Sammie's cousins on the Lewis side of the family. I was prepared for cold, wind and fog. Insted we got 3 days of the exact opposite!
Our Little Catepillar

Baby Norah's first camping trip. I have a feeling there will be many more in her future!

With Uncle Toby

The Old Mendocino Lighthouse

There was some good kite flying to be had

The Mermaid Pose

One of our famous beach Jacuzzis

Tide Pool hunting

One of the best things about Shelter Cove is the lack of overzealous rangers and other types of eager law enforcement types. This means you can drive your car right down on the beach and set up camp. Everybody got along just fine with out them. Amazing, I know!

One of the several little waterfalls making its way to the ocean

A vain attempt at channeling the waterfall runoff

Now that's a sandcastle!

Sunset from our camp

Lost another tooth! Unfortunately, the Tooth Fairy did not find her until we got back to San Francisco.
