La Selva en Febrero

It's hard to believe that it's been one year since we spent the winter in San Pancho, so it was time to go down for a little reminder of what the good life is all about...

Climbing on the 1/2 buried truck tire on the beach in Sayulita generates a big smile

Intrepid climber

Picking little rock snails out of the crevasses in the sand stone is great fun!

She found a hermit crab without a shell and poured him into a temporary plastic one before allowing him to continue his search

Loading up in a panga to go find Gail the Whale!

Gail waving "Happy Birthday" to Sammie!

Birthday smooch from Grandma Judi after a successful tour

Then it was back to the beach for some ice cream...

...while the adults feasted on fresh oysters...

...and Uncle Rhett took lazy to a whole new level while inventing a new sport: sit-down paddleboarding (SDP).

I'll leave you with this little Sammie Zen moment (sunset at the high tide lagoon in Sayulita)
